I always receive full attention from Dr. Tonelli on my visits. She knew I don’t take medication unless it is the only choice and she worked with me to find an alternative treatment. She is my favorite doctor.

Dr. Alyssa Luna Tonelli was raised in Yorba Linda, California. She played varsity tennis at El Dorado and went on to graduate from Stanford with Honors. Afterward, she completed her DO degree at Western University of health sciences and pursued a Family Medicine residency with the Choctaw Nation Indians, in Oklahoma. She is excited to be back home and serve the community she grew up in. Dr. Tonelli is a board certified Family Medicine physician who has a passion for preventative medicine and building one-on-one relationships with patients. She enjoys partnering with patients to help them achieve their goals. In her free time, she likes to travel, explore new restaurants, and spend time with family and friends.

Very upset... Dr Tonelli told me she'd expedite and label my Chiro referral but it's been over a month now and my insurance company told me Dr Tonelli never updated it. So I am still waiting to see my chiropractor (who Ive seen many times, stupid my insurance company needs another referral due to their protocol..)
I called Dr Tonelli's office many times to follow up but I keep being told they updated it. But clearly it hasn't been if my insurance company is telling me their hands are tied since they didn't get it yet and I'm still waiting to see my usual Chiropractor over this...
I also sent Dr Tonelli a message on this, still waiting for their response for almost a month...

I was very impressed with the new Caduceus office. My nurse, Maria’s calm reassuring manner made me feel at ease right away. Dr. Tonelli is fabulous, I felt heard and well taken care of. I would highly recommend her.

The wait time to see your doctor is unacceptable. I arrived at 1:05 and saw my doctor at 2:25. No one came in to let me know I was double booked and that the doctor was behind due to the patient before me being late, on top of a physical. I always have to give myself a two hour window, to see a doctor at Caduceus as ALL their docs run behind. Learned today that it is a common practice to double book the time slots. Dr. Tonelli is a competent and thorough doctor. She gets an A+ but their practices and lack of consideration for my time gets an F. Would also appreciate their staff letting me know it'll be a while. Zero communication from their staff. They get a D-. Dr. Tonelli gets an A+!

There was little wait time before seeing the doctor & everyone I interacted with was welcoming and helpful. Dr. Tonelli was thorough & professional in answering all my questions and talking me through everything she was doing during my wellness exam/physical. If you need your blood drawn, ask for Tammi — she’s quick, efficient, & will make you laugh through it.
