This was my first time seeing Dr. Hittson as I just moved to Denver. Seeing as that I was with my previous OB/GYN for over 10 years, I was quite nervous to start anew. My fears were totally unfounded; Dr. Hittson was friendly, kind, calming, and immediately put me at ease. She didn't make me feel rushed (which many doctors do)was very thorough, and a good listener. I highly recommend!

Amanda grew up in Wilton, Connecticut. She earned a bachelor’s degree in both biology and Spanish from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. She then received her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by completing her Ob-Gyn residency at Saint Joseph Hospital here in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Lawlor likes that she is able to combine her love for medicine and science with her passion for helping others.
“I strive to compassionately help women navigate through transitions in their lives, while also empowering them to take charge of their own health. As a D.O., I have a well-rounded approach to medical care. I firmly believe that it’s important to care for all aspects of a woman’s health, both mental and physical. As a new mother, I am even more cognizant of the personal nature of this field and I pride myself on my ability to form deep and meaningful relationships with my patients.”
Dr. Lawlor's areas of clinical interests include routine and high risks obstetrics, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and infertility.
When she is not at work, Dr. Lawlor enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing and spending time with her husband, son and two Labrador retrievers.

The appointment went well. I just had an annual well women’s visit. However, when I got the bill in the mail a few weeks later, I found out they charged me for 2 appointments and when I called to find out why, I was told it was because I asked a couple questions about my birth control during the appt so they charged me for another session. What?? They did not have to do any extra procedures, tests, or exams, the doctor just answered a few simple questions that related to my everyday women’s health and I got charged extra for it. After several weeks and several phone calls, I was able to get the charge removed by a very lovely office manager. But, it still left a sour taste in my mouth.

Everything excellent!! Everybody extra super nice!!! Very clean and they disinfect your ID before to return it to you. Easy to talk with the doctor, she listen and answer all your concerns. I really like it!! I get a little early and they attend me immediately, maybe my waiting was 5 minutes. I fully recommend them!!!

Dr. Hittson and all the staff at scl are great! They all made me feel safe with their covid procedures,, everyone wearing masks and the facility was very clean. Dr. Hittson is wonderful. She was so willing to just listen about my past experiences and made me feel comfortable about moving forward. She validated my feelings and made me feel immediately supported. Her MA, Mary, was very kind and supportive of me in my vulnerable state and I am thankful for her role in my care. They make a great team and I am so happy with my experience.

I really like it here - the nurse that helped me (Mary) was knowledgeable, kind & helpful. I enjoyed talking w/ her! The Dr. was really cool & professional, she was knowledgable & really helped me with all my questions. Also the phone RN! Loved her. I love the whole team & am making this my primary OBGyn.
