Dr. Purohit was very thorough and seems like he really cares about his patients. Didn't have to wait at all which was also nice.
The wait time was very long. I got there 30 minutes early to fill out paper work and was seen an hour later. Not too bad but I’m used to doctors running more on time. Great bedside manner though and very sweet and helpful!

A joke of a doctors office. Every time I try to get a basic prescription refill it usually takes over a week because either they filled the wrong dosage, they forgot to call it in at all, or my pharmacist can’t even get an answer from them. I’ve called almost 20 times in the past two days without an answer. Wait time in office is around two hours, phone appointments (because of shelter in place) happen at a random time regardless of what you scheduled. Staff is super rude and unhelpful. I’ve watched people walk out because the wait time was so ridiculously long. Sometimes I feel like I’m not even sure if this place is for real...
I would not recommend this doctor. I had multiple appointments here and was never been seen within an hour of my original appointment time. The staff are unprofessional, and I was disappointed that they brought in a sales person to meet with me before I could see my doctor. I don't feel that the doctor ever took the time to explain my condition to me or answer any questions I had. I have many other issues with this doctor that I won't detail here, but will say that I recently switched endocrinologists and cannot emphasize how much better the experience is with a different doctor.
Super nice just long wait times
He asked a lot of questions and wrote everything down even though he had a scribe with him. His back was turned to me the entire time I was there. His interview was about 45 min. His medical scribe walked into the room, didn’t say hello or introduce himself and proceeded to write down all my medical info. I had to stop to ask who he was. Very unprofessional.
Verified patient
He took FOREVER to go through my paperwork, which I think should’ve taken less than 20 minutes. He had 2 medical scribes in the room( didn’t mind) but didn’t let me know who they were until I asked “who are you?” The overall visit was quite annoying. I’ll see how he is on the next visit. It took him over an hour to just go through my old blood test.

Dr. Purohit was thorough, listened to my input, and explained the situation and reasoning behind his conclusions. He was effective in diagnosis and treatment, and bedside manners were pleasant and caring.
Very thorough and kind - first doctor visit I’ve had in a long time where I left satisfied with the service. Wait time could use some work though!
Verified patient
Before he walked in the room to speak with me and share my bloodwork results, he had already diagnosed me and decided on a course of treatment. This is after spending OVER 3 HOURS in the waiting, which was the SOP for each office visit. He spent maybe 10-15 minutes in the room with me asking how I feel. The truth was the side effects of the meds were awful and he was making really hard to try the same med with a different route of administration. Eventually, I stopped seeing him.
He mentioned I was obese when I was almost certainly not anywhere near it. Terrible bedside manner. Wait times to get in were not ok.
The doctor is very good but the receptionists were not mindful of people’s time. I arrived at the doctors office at 11:50 am for my 12:00 pm appointment on Monday but they didn’t let me in until 12:40 pm when I requested for a reschedule as I needed to leave at 1 pm. Patients who checked in 15-20 min after I did were let in before me. I just feel that the receptionists should be more cognizant of people’s time and appointments esp when someone has an appointment during their one hour lunch break on a working day.
Awful. Doctor doesn't explain anything to you, the office is run so poorly. You WILL wait an hour after your scheduled time. You WILL not understand Dr. Purohit at all (talks like a mouse), office holds 2 patients at a time, only 1 nurse. Unacceptable. This is my second appointment because I like to give a second chance but I will never be returning here. Honestly, no beef or anything with the guy, just a poor service entirely.
Verified patient
Dr. Purohit seems like a very knowledgeable doctor who asks a lot of questions before making a diagnosis. However, the wait is not worthwhile (I had a 1pm appointment, arrived at 12:40 and still wasn’t seen until after 3pm). Also, it is noteworthy to mention that his wife aka the manager of the office is very unprofessional and simply put rude. She’s very insensitive and makes the office visit an unpleasant experience.
Verified patient
Very professional but, did have a bit of a wait.
Verified patient
DR AMar is very educational and profesional . He cares about his patients and is very informative about everything that’s going on . He is excellent !!
Verified patient
Wait time was long, beside manner was uncomfortable. Asked way too many questions that did not seem to have anything to do with my thyroid, seemed judgmental. Finding a different endocrinologist. One plus was the lady working the front desk was very nice.
long wait
I was upset about having to wait anywhere from 2 to 3 hours and I have switched to another doctor but eventually I went back to him. He is thorough and you just can't put a time on that. I wish and hope that they can manage the time better but I will always return to this doctor. In the end I know that he has exercised every possibility to make sure my health is okay.

Looking for a new Endocrinologist. Antiquated, small office. Staff and wife not very welcoming. Had to wait at least 3 hours to see Dr., even though I had an appointment. The Dr. himself is old, but knowledgeable, just couldn't stand the wait time.
