Wait time was long, beside manner was uncomfortable. Asked way too many questions that did not seem to have anything to do with my thyroid, seemed judgmental. Finding a different endocrinologist. One plus was the lady working the front desk was very nice.

I was upset about having to wait anywhere from 2 to 3 hours and I have switched to another doctor but eventually I went back to him. He is thorough and you just can't put a time on that. I wishand hope that they can manage the time better but I will always return to this doctor. In the end I know that he has exercised every possibility to make sure my health is okay.

Looking for a new Endocrinologist. Antiquated, small office. Staff and wife not very welcoming. Had to wait at least 3 hours to see Dr., even though I had an appointment. The Dr. himself is old, but knowledgeable, just couldn't stand the wait time.

Ridiculously mismanaged appointment times with no communication in advance about delays. Arrived on time and waited 90 minutes!!! to see the doctor with 2 patients ahead of me in the waiting room. When I inquired if this was typical, staff wasunapologetic saying that he often ran behind although today was even later than usual. If patients were 1.5 hours late to appointments, it would not be tolerated. When the doctor finally appeared, he spent time socializing with a pharma sales rep rather than addressing the obscene delay in seeing patients. On the way out, I learned that other patients often arrive earlier than their appointment times to reduce wait times. Patients are seen in accordance with sign in sheet. So why bother with apppintment times at all?!

DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE OR USE THIS DOCTOR! HE WAS SO UNPROFESSIONAL! I do not even know where to begin, first of all the overall professionalism of the staff and feeling of the office was horrible! I waited forno joke almost 3 hours to be seen, I had to see an endocrinologist asap so I didnt want to leave.... there was a tiny lady going around the small waiting space and saying 'just be patient the doctor is very busy...' I couldn't believe that WITH an appointment I had to wait 3 hours to be seen! Also, once I finally got into the doctors office: he was so out of it, I'm sorry but he seemed too old to be doing his job in his condition (sleepy, super slow, disinterested...) he barely did anything to me to assess my health, and thyroid issues, he literally just looked at my files faxed in from my obgyn and told me (as if I didnt know) that I had just had a miscarriage, I WAS IN SHOCK! I said to him, I am aware of that fact sir....and?????? He didnt have anything to follow up with really... I cannot express to you how stupid this whole experience was that took 5 hours out of my day. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. In the end, he had only checked my reflexes, looked at my files faxed in, and checked my heartbeat. THIS MAN SHOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED A DOCTOR.

I have been a patient of Dr. Purohit for over 20 years. He is very professional, considerate and genuinely concerned for his patients. He wants the best for his patients and will partner with great surgeons, and other specialists to makesure we get the best of care. He spends time as needed with every patient answering questions and explaining care and medications, a rare trait of many doctors these days. I feel I am a valued patient not just a number.

This is my second time visiting Dr. Purhoit as I thought I would give him a second chance The first time my wait was almost three hours I left before seeing the doctor because after a 45 minute wait the graciousassistant administrators informed me it could be at least two more hours before I saw the doctor A completely frustrating waste of my time!

The manager of the office was most insensitive, rude, uncaring, and unprofessional. The office was so crowded there were no seats. The staff at the desk did not seem to be able to calculate the wait. I did have great amountof sympathy for the staff working at the front desk, as it was clear the manager intimidated them. Dr Purohit's office manager said that the wait (I waited for 4 hours) was unavoidable. She shrugged and told a man who, at that point was waiting for 3 hours, that if he did not like it he could go to the ER. This man explained to the manager that (he was upset at this point but not he was not out of control) he is missing his dialysis appointment; the manager responded that she would call the police. When I signed in I noticed that 3 patients the exact same time of my appointment. Dr Purohit is great but I cannot believe he is unaware of how his patients are treated. This baffles me. The office manager has to manage*the scheduling visit. If all the patients scheduled show up that day plus there are emergencies, the office staff needs to reschedule patients and to the best of their ability estimate the wait to see the doctor. *I have received a call to remind and confirm my schedule appointments with Dr Purohit.

I did not enjoy my experience here. While the staff was friendly and attentive, the wait time was about an hour from when I arrived. The doctor did not really listen to my concerns, nor did he make me feel comfortable. He asked me questions and examined me while accompanied by a teenage male, who was typing on the computer. I was not asked if this was okay, or even informed that he would be there. It was uncomfortable to answer some intimate questions with the doctor's demeanor and with the teenage male present. He was not very thorough either. Furthermore, the doctor's phone rang during my appointment and he answered it and then hung up as if it were just a telemarketer. I would understand if it had been an urgent medical call, but this was not the case and so I found it quite unprofessional. I would not recommend seeing this doctor.

Very unsatisfactory. The worst was that during both times, without asking to see whether or not I was comfortable with this, Dr. Purohit was accompanied by a male teenager during my visit with the doctor. During one of these visits Iwas instructed to remove my top and bra, while this boy, continuously texting someone, was in the room. When I asked if this happened to be a medical student or someone associated with the medical profession, I found out that he was - get this - their computer data assistant. I will not be back.

I love Dr. Purhoit, although his wait times are awful and his staff seems highly unorganized. I had trouble conceiving a child due to a thyroid disease and Dr. Purhoit successfully diagnosed and treated me and now - almost 1 yearafter I first saw him - I have a beautiful, healthy baby boy and I can thank in large part Dr. Purhoit for this. Because of my disease, I had to see him frequently for a healthy pregnancy - he may have been more important than my OB/GYN. For that, I will wait hours for him. When I was looking for an Endocrinologist, he was the only one who didn't make me wait months for an appointment. He takes his time and is thorough when he is with you. Very sweet man.
