Growing up, I loved my pediatrician and appreciated how she made me feel valued as a patient. During medical school rotations, I walked into the children’s hospital and felt right at home. I knew that's where I was supposed to be and felt an immediate connection with the children.
I love my work. Not only is the child my patient, but every member of the family is, too. I spend my time listening to each child and talking with parents and extended family members about their concerns and the questions they may have.
I have two children of my own, so I understand the joys and challenges of parenting. I enjoy helping parents go through the process of raising children. I love to stand alongside families as they go through each milestone of their child’s life. I think raising children is one of the most important journeys in our lives, and my job is to help families every step of the way.

Excellent doctor, great with kids. Our little one is afraid of doctors but Dr. Syed made her feel comfortable. She carefully listened our concerns and we didn’t feel rushed at all. Highly recommended.
