When I first started considering finding treatment, I was overwhelmed at the idea of having to try and find a provider and then spend hours of my day hunting for appointments, driving, waiting, and then worrying about the cost of it — until I found Klarity. At first, I was little hesitant about the telehealth aspect, but I found the appointments easy and available when I need them, the providers friendly, and I always know what it will cost.
Klarity paired me with Amethyst Maxey, who I’ve found to be a wonderful care provider for me. She is always friendly on our calls is attentive, understanding, supportive, and a truly caring human.
The video calls have been effortless and Amethyst really listens to and understands my issues. She worked with me to make sure I was getting the help I needed. Seeing the genuine joy on her face during a follow-up call when I got to tell her how much better I was doing thanks to her help really cemented the fact that Klarity and Amethyst have my best interests at heart.
The Klarity portal is really easy to navigate and I love being able to quickly and easily send messages to my provider. I always get a quick response from Amethyst which means that I don't have a lapse in care and I always have answers to my questions.
Amethyst & Klarity have been life changers for me. Thank you for having my back and getting me on the path to health, happiness, and quality of life.

Words cannot describe the appreciation I have towards Amethyst Maxey and her downright professionalism. Without her I don't know where I would be today she was such a huge help and made such a huge impact on my day-to-day life and my personal lives my relationships my job everything has gotten so much better since seeing her. She is incredibly professional, polite, understanding and empathetic. I believe she truly has a passion for helping people and it shows. This woman deserves a raise she's gone above and beyond to help me and I believe she needs to be recognized by her employer for this she is one of a kind and I hope she will be my prescribing doctor forever she is just great thank you so much again

I have been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner for the last 3 years, practicing in the Chicagoland area. Prior to obtaining my Master’s degree, I worked as a Registered Nurse for 10 years in several different settings. My job is more than treating an illness. My approach to service and treatment is always deliver extraordinary patient centered care and is individualized to meet each patient’s needs. I’m a huge advocate for patient’s rights and encourage my I was born on a dairy farm in Wisconsin and moved to Chicago, IL when I was 18 years old where I was able to attend college and obtain my degrees in nursing. My provider, Amethyst Maxey, is phenomenal! When I first started my treatment with Klarity, my provider was not as easily accessible. She wouldn't respond back to messages as quickly as I needed her to. When my old provider left Klarity, I was given a new provider. Fingers crossed, I was hoping I would be given a new provider who really took the time with her patient. When I had my first appointment with Amethyst Maxey, I was beyond happy that I had finally found someone who took the time to get to know their patient and take interest in what the patient is having issues with. When I had messaged her regarding my prescription, I had not expected her to respond in an hour. My experience with her has been awesome!

My time with Klarity has been very enjoyable. My provider Amethyst Maxey has been so helpful and compassionate throughout the entire process. She has made check-ins and filling scripts such a breeze and so much nicer than my other experiences with 'traditional' psych care. She is super flexible and always has my best interest in mind. My overall experience with Klarity has been 5/5!

It was super easy to connect and a huge relief to identify and understand how ADHD has been making my life harder at work & home. Amethyst is a great nurse practitioner! I connected with her instantly because of her approachable and caring demeanor. She listened to me rant on about my life and continued to ask questions to evaluate my symptoms. Being able to talk about how my current feelings and emotions are negatively affecting my actions and decisions is a huge relief for me. Amethyst discussed a plan of action with the appropriate medication to alleviate my ADHD and depression symptoms. I really enjoyed how she also made some motivating suggestions to me about feeling positive again and getting my life back on track.

I had my appointment with Amethyst Mexy on 7/28 and VERY much enjoyed my appointment with her and wanted to give her a shout out.
Originally our appointment was scheduled for 7/29 and on short notice on my part I asked if she could do it earlier in the day on 7/28. She replied back and found time for me which saved me so much hassle with my work schedule and wowed me. We met, she listened to me, was pleasant to be in her company and guidance. I appreciated her saying she's highly available (I identify with that as I'm like that to my employees) and seems to care about my treatment and gave me options to meet from 2-4 weeks.
Overall she was fantastic and truly redefines the provider & patient experience that I don't believe exists anywhere else.

My provider is Dr. Amethyst Maxey, she has been very helpful. In my initial tele-appointment, she was easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable explaining my ADHD-related issues that have made my personal and work life difficult. We started a treatment plan and things are going well. The whole process has been simple, and I appreciated a follow up when my medication was running low. It might be hard for others to relate who don’t have an attention disorder, but for me personally a lack of her follow up would likely lead to me forgetting or putting off making sure my prescription was refilled. Just easy and painless experience all around!

I had some trouble with my first provider, and while the second provider was kind and helpful I was not able to work with them long. The third provider is nice, professional, and gets to the point very quickly, which is appreciated after going through this longer process. Doctor Amethyst Maxey has been prompt and helpful whenever I need something, and is willing to work with my needs. I also appreciate Klarity reaching out to me to make sure the service I am receiving is okay, and matching me with new providers when necessary

I signed up for Klarity after I first tried going the old fashioned route. I went to my doctor, and got a reference for a local psychiatrist in town. When I called to make an appointment they informed the next available time they could see me would be a month and a half from the current time. Frustrated, I googled around and found Klarity. I got to have an appointment and diagnosis that I needed the next day. It has helped me so much coming back to school and I could not be happier with the service. I had Amethyst Maxey and I could not recommend her enough! Professional and friendly, and always happy to answer any questions that I may have. If you feel like you have ADHD symptoms and have slipped through the cracks like I have, then you should definitely give Klarity a try.

Recently due to my insurance changing, my past provider was no longer available to me. I decided to look into Kclarity ADHD, and Im not disappointed at all! The process was super simple and my provider Amethyst Maxey is great, she answered all my questions and listened to me about my complaints. I have to say it was honestly just the top level of healthcare you could expect from a physician you've been seeing since childhood. I have never had such a great experience speaking with my provider (Amethyst Maxey) she understands my issue and takes the time to address it in a way that best suits my needs and my concerns. Amethyst is always available to answer my questions which are always speedy and professional. She is definitely the reason why I am using klarity ADHD if I had to deal with anyone else I'd probably not enjoy being here and would most likely find another place. I am a woman in my 50s who has suffered from undiagnosed ADHD my entire life. I needed a safe place with a compassionate person with experience in recognizing my symptoms and hardships. I found Klarity and took a chance since they specialize in ADHD and I am soooo glad that I took that first step. I was paired with Amethyst Maxey and she got me from the first meeting. She was kind, gentle, listened and assured me that I am not alone and there is help available to me. She worked with me to see me get the proper medication and dosage and it has started the ball rolling for me. My life is in constant growth, and improvement with a higher level of functioning than I ever had! Amethyst will never know just how much her kind support and safe place to speak freely and discuss options for treatment have improved the quality of my life. Klarity provided a secure platform and service at a reasonable price and Amethyst changed my world!

Amethyst Maxey has been an absolute god-send!! She’s been compassionate and understanding in the six months I’ve been a patient of hers :) Always has a selection of appointment dates and times to choose from, and is very timely in keeping them. I’m on the road a LOT (as an agency nurse), so klarity and Amethyst’s flexibility are perfect for my schedule too. I have definitely referred both to friends!

Having struggled all my life and feeling like my life was on hard mode, I never knew how to get the help I needed. To fully accept and understand I needed help was one thing but how to get help was difficult. For me Klarity was the solution. Being able to videochat a doctor and get the help I've been unable to get for so long has been a blessing. Amethyst Maxey was able to help find me the best medication and make sure it was great fit. She listened to me compassionately and was able to diagnose me and ensure I received the right treatment. I appreciate this service so much as it's a gamechanger for people that don't know how to get the help they need without jumping through obstacle after obstacle. With the treatment I felt able to be productive and focus again, and actually enjoy life again and see things with clarity.

I have been using Klarity for a while now and it has been fantastic. Since my first appointment, Amethyst Maxey has been nothing short of amazing. I think finding someone who you feel comfortable opening up to and don’t feel shame can be a struggle, but she has allowed me to be open and honest and I feel no judgement when I talk to her about my struggles. Connecting with your provider is probably the most important aspect of getting the right mental health care that works and fits, and Amethyst has made my personal biggest struggle of talking about my feelings an easy one. So thankful to have her, my life has changed positively since our first meeting and I continue to look forward to our meetings.

My provider, Amethyst Maxey, has given me a very smooth and simple entrance into the world of ADHD treatment with Klarity. She has done an excellent job listening and taking into consideration my personal needs when we've met, and I've felt entirely comfortable along every step of the way. My experience with Klarity has been nothing short of exceptional. I've been seeing Amethyst Maxey and her communication skills are awesome. Any questions I have I receive replies almost instantaneously which is a rarity these days. She asked all the right questions to accurately diagnose me and the treatment she recommended provided fast results. It really has been a life changer. I have now moved to FL so my provider needs to change which for a lack of a better word, sucks. I just hope the new person is half as good! Thanks so much to Klarity and their awesome team!

I have been seeing Amethyst Maxey for a few months now and she has been amazing! She is very attentive and responsive to all of my concerns. I appreciate her flexibility because my schedule is always jam-packed. This, combined with Klarity being a tele-health clinic, makes receiving treatment so easy! I also love that if I have any issues with medication, or if new symptoms arise, she is able to schedule an appointment within the same day or the next day. I will definitely be continuing to use Klarity.

I was very nervous to make this call as I was struggling for quite awhile and didn't know where to turn. However, my doctor, Amethyst Maxey, was amazing! I wasn't having the best experience with my previous psych provider, so I was shopping for a new ADHD treatment specialist - I'm really glad I tried Klarity, I met with Amethyst Maxey and she was kind, listened carefully, and was able to provide me with a prescription same day. Having difficulty getting your script causes such anxiety, and this process and Amethyst alleviated that for me.

I was able to get an appointment with Amethyst the same day within a couple hours of initially reaching out. Amethyst was empathetic and listened to all my concerns. She created a thorough treatment plan and was quick to respond when I had any questions or concerns.
