Dr. Harari graduated from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD in 1990. He did his Internal Medicine residency at Naval Medical Center, Oakland and completed his Endocrinology and Metabolism Fellowship at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, in 2000. After a 21 year career in the US Navy, he has joined Endocrinology Associates. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Endocrinology. He has Special interest in Thyroid disease, adrenal disease, and diabetes.

The office staff was very friendly as was the rest of the staff members I saw. I really liked Dr. Harari and would recommend him. He took his time talking to me and I felt very comfortable asking him questions. Great bedside manner. Only downfall was kind if a long wait to see him, but it was worth it.

I was a first time patient. I liked the doctor, staff and office. Dr. Harari took time to listen to my history and discuss my issues. So far, so good. In addition, I have had problems confirming my coverage, as it was issued in another state. Dr. Harari's staff were the only ones so far that were able to understand and deal with the type of coverage I have. Kudos. And they are pleasant and professional. I witnessed them dealing with patients with attitude (including me?), and they remained in control of themselves. They seem to be well trained. Overall, it was a positive experience.

Dr. Harari took the time to investigate my symptoms, and listen to what I was feeling, rather than simply writing me off. He also might have caught a potential alternative issue occurring. I appreciated that he took the time to be "safe rather than sorry," but was still incredibly efficient.

I have never done a review before but could not pass the opportunity to say that I am very impressed. the office staff, PA, and Dr. Harare, all were amazing. I was in the office for over an hour although almost the entire time someone was with me. They were extremely thorough and kind. They explained everything in detail and I left feeling if there is something wrong, I am in good hands. What a breath of fresh air. This is how the doctors office was when I was young. I went to Dr. Harari for a thyroid checkup, and he did blood work and a ultrasound. And lucky he did because it turn out I had thyroid cancer and I had no idea.
He's very thorough and has been great during this whole cancer ordeal.

Visits are quick & straight to the point. It can be difficult to reach the doctor. The practice has a long automated system you have to get through & all you can do is leave a message with his PA & wait for someone to call you back. It usually takes a day or 2 to hear back.

Best doctor I have ever seen. After a year of pain, he actually listened!!! He has a wonderful beside manner, is a hands-on doctor with application, and I would recommend him to anyone. Really incredible after all of the experiences I have had with other doctors lately. He took his time and really seemed to care a lot. Great person and doctor!
