I was so pleased with the clinic and Dr. Agarwala..I felt very at easy and comfortable with his manner and how he addressed my back issues. I felt he really was companionate and wanted to help me.
It's a very scary thing to do this type of surgery but my fears were aleaviated for the most part with his confidence and caring....both myself and husband left feeling I will be in the best hands with a top notch surgeon.

Dr. Agarwala is very good @ motivating his patients. The office was being renovated in it's entirety and it was a very long wait just to see him. However, after the wait he was happy to see us and we him. He was pleased with how the surgery worked out and also seemed pleased at the recovery I had made.

Amit O. Agarwala, MD is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult and pediatric spine. Dr. Agarwala graduated from the Johns Hopkins University with departmental honors in Biomedical Engineering, and completed his medical degree at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Agarwala completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center, where he was awarded the Vernon H. Thompson award for research from the Western Orthopaedic Association and was given the Resident of the Year award from his peers. He completed his spine fellowship with Panorama Orthopedics & Spine Center in Denver, Colorado.
Dr. Agarwala’s primary interest is in spinal disorders including scoliosis, spine fractures and degenerative conditions of the spine. He also has an interest in minimally invasive spinal surgery techniques and complex deformity and revision spine surgery.

I left the clinic yesterday thinking I had just wasted 1 1/2 hours. My post surgical requests fell upon deaf ears. If I had a co-pay on this visit I would ask for a refund.

I have only seen Dr. Agarwala once, the initial visit but I liked the interaction I had with him. Dr Agarwala clearly explained my options. At the end of the visit I did have to take my MRI DVD out of the computer myself and ask the staff for the sleeve for it other than that all was good. He didn't review the X-Ray I had taken when I arrived so I'm not sure that was really necessary to be done (additional exposure).
I arrived early for the appointment (30 mins) but ended up being called back about 15 minutes after my scheduled time so it was a bit of a wait.

Dr. Agarwala and his entire staff are awesome. He answers all of my questions and is very confident. His medical assistant is very funny, and she helped lighten an otherwise tense moment when I am in pain, waiting for my MRI results. :) His scheduler is also very friendly and courteous. It's nice to have such a caring staff and surgeon. I would recommend him without a doubt.
