Dr. Patel specializes in gynecologic conditions to include, but not limited to: vaginal mesh revision (corrective) surgery, urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, abnormal bleeding, uterine fibroids, pelvic pain, vaginal mesh revisions, sexual dysfunction, and endometriosis. He performs the vast majority of his procedures in minimally invasive fashion to include both vaginal and laparoscopic approaches.
Modern Gynecology's rotating clinic concept means that specialty GYN care comes to the patient in multiple locations, making access to care much easier for the patient. Dr. Patel collaborates with primary care practices to bring GYN services to their patients -- in many instances within their own facility.
Dr. Patel currently owns and operates Modern Gynecology, PLLC – a gynecologic surgical specialty practice based in Dallas-Ft. Worth, TX which focuses on vaginal surgery, pelvic floor disorders, female urinary incontinence, and minimally invasive pelvic surgery. He has been performing advanced gynecologic surgery for over eleven years. His practice now spans the DFW area, San Antonio, and Houston. He specializes in the evaluation and surgical treatment of problems related to vaginal prolapse mesh complications and mesh sling complications, urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, as well as other benign gynecologic issues such as abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, and uterine fibroids.
