Dr. Nguyen received her Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Irvine where she graduated with distinguished honors. After graduating from the University of California, Irvine, she received her Medical Degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. She completed her training and residency at Long Beach Memorial Family Medicine, where she was awarded the Resident Teacher Award. After a few years, she pursued her interest in dermatology. She worked at the Department of Dermatology at the University of California, Irvine, as an assistant specialist from 2008 – 2010.
Her work and study in cutaneous disease was published in the Journal of American Academy of Dermatology and Lasers in Surgery & Medicine in 2009. Dr. Nguyen incorporates the knowledge and skills that she cultivated as a family physician to her dermatologic practice to provide comprehensive care. Dr. Nguyen is fluent in English and Vietnamese.
