Dr. Numrych was born in Ohio and spent her childhood in Connecticut. As a teen she moved to Illinois, where she attended Aurora University for her bachelor degree, and then the University of lllinois, College of Medicine. After completing her residency in Family Medicine at the Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois, she moved permanently to the Pacific Northwest and has been with Bellevue Family Medicine since 1994.
Dr. Nurnrych enjoys the challenges of Family Medicine and the broad spectrum of issues it presents. She enjoys the opportunity that Family Medicine has provided her to get to know patients over long periods of time, often from birth. She feels that her primary role as a physician is to be an educator – empowering her patients to make informed decisions about their health.
She is married to Thomas Numrych, MD a Seattle pediatrician. They have a son whose activities keep them busy away from their offices. As a family they enjoy hiking, skiing, biking and camping around the Northwest as well as international travel adventures.
