I enjoy being a nurse practitioner and utilize holistic approaches to help people improve their health and wellbeing. I find it personally rewarding to help people improve their lives by achieving their wellness goals.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
I believe it is important to take time to listen to the patient and identify their concerns in order to include the patient in the plan of care. I utilize evidenced-based practices, including lifestyle and integrative options when appropriate, to help patients achieve their physical and behavioral health goals.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy spending time with family and friends in the outdoors hiking, biking, kayaking and sailing. I also enjoy relaxing with a good book.
