This was my first visit, all the girls in the office were very friendly and made me feel very comfortable..The Dr was very personable and asked lots of questions... Asked me to do blood work and offered that I could come back the next am to have my blood drawn at their office! Results would be back in 2 days!!!

Welcome to Central Florida Primary Physicians Neighborhood Clinics.
Our Mission is to provide quality, caring, patient-centered healthcare. We want our patients to feel they are being viewed by the orlando doctors and staff, as unique, whole people, with individual needs. We will attempt to understand each persons needs by listening carefully then doing our utmost to meet them.
We will strive to provide efficient, courteous customer services to the best of our ability at all times. Being as accessible for same day appointments with our Orlando doctors as possible will be the rule not the exception. We believe this "open access" system will not only allow our medical care to be delivered when it is most needed, but also when it is most convenient.
Dr. Andres Velasco is a Board Certified Family Physician serving patients in the Orlando, Florida area and surrounding communities. He attended the Universidad Libre de Colombia Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud. Dr. Velasco speaks both English and Spanish fluently.

AWFUL, and this was by far the WORST experience I've EVER had with a doctor. Velasco is VERY impersonal and over-explanatory to the point of patronizing.
This was the only practice even remotely near me (try 2 hours round trip) that took my insurance. I needed to see them ASAP for extremely painful ovarian cysts and to establish a primary care doctor.
When I was finally called in, he checked off items on a spreadsheet (which were already filled out on ZocDoc) and said goodbye. He directed the nurses to do the rest.
Note that before arriving, I wrote down that I needed to get the ovarian cysts checked out in my ZocDoc form, expecting to get some blood taken and of course an ultrasound for the cysts. No such luck, as the ultrasound technician was gone for the day and had "left as soon as I got there", even though I HAD AN APPOINTMENT TO GET IT DONE. She was even in the office when I arrived and still left!
They also couldn't draw blood or do any blood work, so I got that sent out in addition to the ultrasound, for which I was not provided any sort of reference. The office staff was standoffish, and only spoke in Spanish when they were scheduling my follow up appointment. I don't speak a lot of Spanish, so I found this extremely rude. Got charged the full amount, even though nothing was accomplished.
I left this office feeling way worse than I did when I arrived. Found another doctor less than 24 hours later and never looking back.

Dr Andres Velasco was very caring, took time to listen to what I had to say and had really caring bed side manners; since I had not had certain tests done in 5 yrs or more he ordered them so he could actually tell more about my medical condition and treat me for what I needed. The office staff was very caring and made ME feel welcome as a NEW PATIENT . I loved his professional service and YES, I will have him for my doctor. I live in Sanford.
