Prior to becoming an Addiction Medicine specialist, he practiced Family Medicine at the Austin Diagnostic Clinic for over 20 years and was listed in Austin Monthly magazine as a Top Doctor in 2015 and 2017. He is board certified in Addiction Medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine (ABPM) and American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM).
