I finally feel I am on the road to better mental health. She cares about the individual and looks at alternatives to why a person feels the way they do, i.e. blood chemistry, vitamin levels, genetics. She is amazing!

She missed my video appointment. I waited for half an hour before calling the office and had to make a new appointment. I asked for them to have her see me asap, as it was urgent. She did end up calling me a few hours later; but she talked to me for 5 minutes before deciding she couldn’t see me because of one suicide attempt 5 years ago, and because I supposedly had too many psychiatric hospitalizations (4). She said I shouldn’t be seeing virtual providers and wouldnt recommend me to a provider from her practice, even though explained my situation is urgent and I needed my medications fixed that day. I understood that wasn’t going to happen by that point, but then she just gave me referrals for in person psychs which can have 3-6 month waits to get in. She also said she would not prescribe me both Adderall and Xanax, because she did not feel comfortable providing that many controlled substances, but that’s only two, & those are the two medications that keep me alive and functioning.

I didn't get any support at all and I got referred to drug addiction center even though I've never done drugs. I came there for help with an eating disorder and she lazily just sent me links to drug addiction centers. This is really dangerous for someone who was actually genuinely looking to get help. It is not easy to reach out for help and people like her make it even harder. I'm extremely disappointed in this provider and I never knew that a psychiatrist could be so irresponsible.
