Dr. Andrew Fasciani graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern California College of Optometry. During his time there, he completed externships at various Native American and VA hospitals. While studying at these locations, he gained valuable experience in pediatrics, geriatrics and ocular disease, including the diagnosis and management of glaucoma. After graduation, he moved back to Del Mar to practice alongside Dr. Gregory Graham, who served as a mentor to Dr. Fasciani for two years before attending optometry school. Dr. Fasciani grew up in Canon City, Colorado and attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where he received a degree in psychology with a minor in kinesiology. He looks forward to a long career serving the Del Mar community.

Dr. Fasciani is outstanding. He's veery knowledgable, explained everything so I now know a lot more about my eyes: my vision and eye health. Dr. Fasciani made me feel like I was the ONLY patient in his office (and that wasn't the case). I can't say enough. He is the BEST eye doctor I have seen in 40 years! He even popped in while I was with the optician and weighed in on which frames fit my face and looked best. He was awesome! And Sam was unbelievably professional, knowledgeable and the most incredible optician and consummate lens expert extrodanare! They are the "dream team"!

Dr. Fasciani is the best eye doctor we have been so far. My daughter had issues with her contacts. He is very knoweldgeable and took the time to explain in great detail. Dr. Fasciani is a great example of how doctors can delight their patients. We need more of Dr. Fascianis out there.

Del Mar Optometric Clinic's modern high-tech equipment ensured that my visit was efficient.
Pre-filling forms online via ZocDoc facilitated instant check-in -- no waiting!
All personnel were polite and accomodating.
Dr. Fasciani was efficient, yet complete. He answered all questions I asked. Further, I believe Dr. Fasicani's lense selection procedure provided optimal vision correction prescription with the least amount of "guessing" on my part.
I suspect that frames and lenses were more expensive than I might find, elsewhere, but I believe Dr. Fasciani's assessment was likely much more accurate and Claudia's frame guidance and fitting more complete than that of the previous optometrist with whom I consulted, 2 years prior. I'll definitely return to Dr. Fasciani!

I've worn glasses or contacts most of my life. Dr. Fasciani is hands-down the best OD I have ever been seen by. I came away from my initial visit feeling 100% confident that I had the right prescription and product (daily disposables) for my life style.
His staff is excellent; I was very comfortable with all the pre-exam testing they performed. They were clear with instructions and everything they were doing. Love the on-line appointments and check-in; all the paper work was there when I arrived. Didn't have to fill out anything and was seen right away!

Five out five starts! My first appointment with Dr. Fasciani was delightful. He listened, valued and respected my opinion regarding my optical needs and concerns. His exam was thorough, followed by clearly described results. The office's modern technology added a new layer of diagnosis that was unavailable at my previous OD's. And Fasciani's enthusiasm for his field and his positive energy are contagious. Further, his team is fantastic. They assisted me with my insurance, provide information on the prices, exam results, and the wait time was minimal. I highly recommend Dr. Fasciani and his helpful team.
