I have suffered with chronic tonsillitis and strep throat infections for a long time and now I feel like I have my life back! Dr. Johnson received a Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction from the University of Virginia in 2008, majoring in Spanish with a minor in Biology. He continued at the University of Virginia and received his medical degree in 2012. Dr. Johnson then completed both his General Surgery internship and Otolaryngology – Head and Neck surgery residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
During his time at UTSW in Dallas, he received extensive training in the full spectrum of ENT disorders including disorders of the sinuses and nasal cavity, allergy, facial cosmetic surgery including rhinoplasty, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, voice and swallowing disorders, sleep medicine, pediatric ENT disorders, and ear surgery. He is able to offer a variety of cosmetic filler injections in the office as well as botox. During residency, he took a special interest in endoscopic approaches for ear surgery, which offers the ability to perform most procedures without making an incision behind the ear. Dr. Johnson is the author of several peer-reviewed publications in the ENT literature, and has presented his research at multiple national meetings.
In his free time, Dr. Johnson enjoys being on the water with his wife and 2 dogs, sailing, and fishing. He treats children and adults of all ages and is proficient in both English and Spanish.
