More about Dr. Andrew Leitzke, DC
Dr. Andrew Leitzke was born in Ithaca, New York. As a young child he moved to Newark, Delaware where he was raised. After graduating high school, he attended the University of Delaware where he studied biology. While in college he began to suffer with a chronic low grade back pain. It wasn’t until he saw a Chiropractor that he began to see relief. Eventually, with the help of Chiropractic care his back pain completely resolved. It was these amazing results that inspired him to move to Atlanta Georgia to study Chiropractic. Upon graduation he received his doctorate in Chiropractic from Life University, the largest Chiropractic school in the world.
Dr. Leitzke then moved back to Delaware to start practicing Chiropractic medicine in 2000 in his home town. Since then, he has successfully treated thousands of patients who have suffered with conditions such as headaches, neck and back pain, sports injuries, and injuries from auto and work accidents. He has also been a finalist as “Delaware’s Best Chiropractor” two years in a row. In addition, he has worked as a guest Chiropractor for Extreme Home Makeover and for several local sports teams.
Along with practicing Chiropractic medicine, Dr. Leitzke has been very active in his community by volunteering his time with the Boys and Girls club, coaching basketball and lacrosse, and mentoring students in the Appoquinimink school district.
He now lives in Middletown, Delaware with his wife Amy and their two boys Tyler and Jacob.
