I had never gotten acupuncture before, and came in with a neck strain so bad I couldn't turn my head left at all. After an hour of acupuncture with Andrew, I had nearly full mobility in my neck back and felt so much relief. I'm afraid of needles and I had no problems at all because he was very careful and knowledgeable. I had an amazing experience and got the most relief of various symptoms I've ever felt in an hour session.

Andrew Lenz is one of our acupuncturists at the Aligned Modern Health location in Logan Square. Andrew first came into contact with acupuncture after a Neurologist suggested he try it to manage symptoms associated with a nerve disease he developed as a teen. After just a few months of treatment the pain was essentially gone and he knew he had to pursue it as a career to help others in his position. He went on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Kansas State University. He then went on to earn his Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Health and Science in Chicago.
Andrew has been practicing since 2019 with a specialization in the treatment of pain both acute and chronic. He also has experience with a wide variety of conditions including insomnia, digestive disorders, anxiety, depression, as well as helping patients currently going through chemotherapy and cancer treatment. While in school he completed the coursework to become a diplomat in the Institute of Classics East Asian Medicine.
