Dr. Schneider's mission is to solve your foot and ankle pain in the shortest time possible. He is a consultant for several running and triathlon clubs around Houston and treats athletes in all sports, working with them to minimize or eliminate time away from activity. Physicians throughout the city rely on his knowledge and skill in the area of biomechanics and orthotics and regularly send their own patients to him. He has become a resource for other podiatrists to refer their more challenging orthotics and brace cases as well. To give back to the community, he volunteers at the San Jose Clinic, providing foot and ankle care to those working without access to health care.
Dr. Schneider is a recognized expert in utilizing technology, the internet, and social media for the use in medical and professional practices. He writes extensively and lectures internationally on the topic.

I'm sure he's overall a good doctor, but I was not pleased after my interaction with him. I am young and athletic which is great but I was also injured... He seemed very dismissive of my injury despite having described to him the severity of the pain and prior similar injuries. (note: he did do an X-ray there in the office - but the machine was, in their words, "old" and temperamental so who knows the actual quality of the image. I did have to wait a while for the machine to be reset after it not working properly with prior patients).
I don't appreciate being brushed off because of my age and apparent fitness. If I am injured and come to you for help don't just dismiss my injury by saying "you're young i'm sure you'll be fine".
Overall, if you are elderly and not particularly athletic I would say he would be a fine choice but for anyone else I wouldn't recommend Dr. Schneider.

I was about to come unglued! I thought I was losing my mind. I was in such pain! I had gone to 2 other doctors and they said " it't a corn, no biggie" I literally thought I was going mad. I had two procedures in both feet (big toes) in one visit. As a new patient I was very relieve with his treatment.
Dr. Schneider is a rare Medical Professional that you do not find easily, I have been before in two podiatrist and both were below average. One wa$ ($till i$) a greedy podiatri$t who ha$ two office$... and the other one LOVE TO GIVE YOU PAIN but he did not want to hear any ouch! He yelled at me because I was in pain, he was uncaring and uncompassionated with my pain.
So, I found a new one who is a keeper, Dr. Andrew Schneider.
Dr. Schneider is the real deal. He attended me with respect and ease my pain with his fine caring, the staff is very courteous ready to help you.
I am very thankful to him and happy. Definitely, the best one in Houston.
