Dr. Werchniak was both personable and informative. I appreciate that he took the time to explain various skin conditionsthat he observed; and did not make me feel that I was just another patient he had to see during his busy day. Lastly, his relaxed manner helped put me at ease!

He confirmed I had pityrosporum folliculitis when previous physicians had treated me for skin conditions I knew I didn't have because antibacterials made my skin worse. He assured me I had been treating it properly myself, but gave me a stronger topical to help with my current treatment.

Dr. Werchniak is very personable. He answered my questions thoroughly and the time devoted to my appointment was adequate. He was very busy, and running about 30 minutes behind. This was not my experience last year, so it may have just been an anomaly.

The appointment was very short. He seemed competent and quickly diagnosed my son's Keratosis pilaris and prescribed an extremely expensive topical creme but also talked about laser treatment which I may prefer since the creme is so expensive.I was not happy with the referral to their Portsmouth office who could not give me a ballpark estimate on the Laser treatment over the phone - we have to pay for a consult just to get an idea of the cost. Should be able to give an average cost for this treatment.

I am new to the practice, Seacoast Dermatology. Left a previous practice because of ridiculous wait time to be seen for a scheduled appointment. My time is too valuable to sit around in a gown waiting for my scheduled appt. tobegin. SO, I did not wait in the wait room very long, 10 minutes at most. Waited in the exam room for 5 min before the assistant came in to gather info. Got in a gown then waited 8 minutes for the Dr. Not too long but still more than I would like. I was on time and the appt. was early (8:15 AM). Hard to understand how there is any wait, other than for me to change my clothes. What kind of stuff happens on a dermatology office that causes delays other than poor scheduling.

Dr. Werchniak was a really nice guy with an awesome sense of humor. I am a woman who had a mole on my groin to be removed and he was very professional (all while staring at my crotch and chopping mymole off!) He made me feel better about the mole and helped reassure me. The front office staff was a bit cold, but the nurses and MA were really sweet and everyone made me feel welcome.
