Angela was born in Poland, spent half of her life in Chicago, IL, and currently lives in Chandler, Arizona, where she works in a dialysis clinic, helping patients with end-stage renal disease achieve the best possible health outcomes and prepare for kidney transplants. Most of her patients struggle with diabetes, pre-diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity, and heart disease.
Angela gained experience working in a hospital setting and long-term care facility before devoting her passion to kidney health. In the renal world, she is well-known among her coworkers for always going above and beyond for her patients and for constantly developing creative approaches to nutrition counseling and patient care. In her free time, Angela enjoys traveling, running, and hiking. She loves everything about food—from gardening to cooking and baking from scratch, to developing new recipes and trying new restaurants. She also loves spending time with her family, friends, and her furry baby, Lyla.
Angela’s love for food, the science of nutrition, and healthcare led her to become a dietitian. She is passionate about helping people, and being a dietitian provides her with an opportunity to help others improve their relationship with food. She is grateful to have found a career that aligns so well with her core values and interests.
In the field of dietetics, culturally appropriate nutrition guidelines and therapy recommendations are essential. Over the years, Angela has worked with a diverse patient population and can provide nutrition counseling in both Polish and English.
