Dr. Uba is hands down the BEST doctor I have ever had.
She is smart as a whip, compassionate and kind. She truly cares about her patients like they were her own family members. She takes the time to really listen and explain and spends as much time as needed with me. She has over 30 years of experience and it shows in her wisdom and treatment. She shows no ego. I can't imaging anyone not absolutely loving Dr. Uba, unless they have their own agenda and are unwilling to actually listen to her and work with her towards a positive treatment plan. I unreservedly recommend Dr. Uba with the highest possible rating.

Dr Angela I. Uba, owner and founder of Vigam Medical Spa & Laser, believes that the care of our face and body is crucial to its longevity. We have one life to live and so it is vital that we maintain that which is irreplaceable.
I am a family physician by profession with 30 years of clinical experience working among diverse populations. As a young girl, I grew up in a large city with lots of sun and humidity. I saw firsthand the skin damages attributed to direct sun exposure. It was evident the damages that smoking caused the skin to age prematurely and how dehydration affected the skin health.
Over the subsequent years I learned how certain chemicals in facial products damaged people’s skin and what difference good nutrition, adequate rest, sleep and hydration can make for a healthy skin.
Let us face reality. Undoubtedly, we live in world that can cause us a great degree of stress from work, family and environment. Our emotional health also affects the health of our skin.
I believe in creating a balance in our lives regardless of what ever life throws at us. I am very passionate about my career as a physician and this new path of skin care for my clients.
Our clientele can always rely on us to receive proper and valuable service and education about their body. Our office is calm and inviting. The staff are great!

Dr. Uba was kind and probably a great doctor for a lot of people, but her personality just didn't jive with me and I'm currently looking for a new doctor. A couple things I didn't like during my visit: she didn't really let me get into all the things that were bothering me, assumed I don't regularly drink water & exercise because I am overweight, and disparaged another patient of hers in a way that was very offensive to me. The wait was a bit long as well. My second appointment never happened because the office ended up being closed that day, and I was not notified. So my family ended up driving for an hour (30 min there and back) for an appointment that never occurred, and I was never informed about the office being closed on the day I was supposed to have an appointment.
Other than that I can't complain about much else. The office is in a nice area, the waiting room was clean the one time I was there, and they had a TV running the local news which was pretty nice to watch while I was waiting. The staff there also was very nice.
Overall, I think I just don't have the right personality to be a patient of Dr. Uba's. You may have a different experience.

I was completely and utterly offended by my visit to Dr. Uba. I went in with complaints of abdomen pain and left with no physical examination and questions about whether I was committed to wanting my own children or not. She also seemed more interested in telling her own life story than listening to what I had to say!
Dr. Uba also felt I should have fertility testing (which I cancelled promptly again I saw she prematurely added "Primary female infertility" to my medical chart) and decided not to tell me that my insurance was going to cover NOTHING.
Thankfully I've since seen another doctor who has actually wanted to help me and back up her actions with medical examinations and testing.

I feel like she didnt solve or do anything. the issue i went to her with is still going on. I feel as though she didnt listen to me very well.
On one of my visits back to get information i waited about an hour for her to see me. i was put in a check up room and told to wait for her.. i was waiting for a long time. and when she finally did come in she had to leave again to take a call.

Strong opinions concerning my health. She seems to know her medicine. Only had one visit, but she has an OUTSTANDING STAFF. She is honest and does not shy away from telling you the truth. Thus far very impressed.
