Because he understands that chronic pain affects people in many ways, Dr. Lowry employs an individualized approach to each patient’s pain to help them live the best life possible.
A native Texan, Dr. Lowry obtained his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He completed residency training at Baylor College of Medicine in both internal medicine and anesthesiology.
Having developed a desire to improve the lives of chronic pain patients, Dr. Lowry completed a one-year pain management fellowship at Harvard Medical School’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He is board-certified in pain medicine.

I went in for chronic pain and horrible migraines. Filled out forms on line. They don't use them. Dr. walked in line I interrupted his rest. Got stuck in my neck and head. Never once discussing chronic pain, Fibromyalgia, or Lupus. Kept pushing steroid injection, even though it was on my paper I filled out again, I am ALLERGIC TO STEROIDS! Then discussed injections, steroid injections, I'M ALLERGIC! Burning nerves. He suggested a pain stimulator. I explained 2 times. I had a very bad experience with a new doctor, left me disabled. I said after a few moths to a year. When I'm comfortable in him and his skills. We would address it again. He got visibly irritated and told me he doesn't run a PILL MILL so do the procedures. I just got frustrated and left. No patients were waiting when I left at 2:27. Just a disinterested doctor. Who demands you do his "procedures" or SUFFER. I am NOT an addict. I don't do drugs. I take medicene. I am a chronic pain patient who has Fibromyalgia and Lupus.
