Ann Alexander has been serving the Essex county area with her vast nutrition knowledge and enthusiasm for the past 25 years. Ann started her journey in Nutrition at Brooklyn College, where she earned her B.A. in Foods & Nutrition. Ann went on to further her education and knowledge in Nutrition at Hunter College, where she earned her M.S. in Nutrition, and ultimately became a Registered Dietitian.
Ann makes eating healthy a delicious, exciting and slimming experience! Through her firm belief in lifestyle choices and moderation, Ann tailors her clients' nutrition plans specifically to compliment how each individual lives and works. Ann has been helping clients make life style changes in regard to nutritional interventions for 32 years, having first worked in the hospital and clinical setting in both NY and NJ for 11 years, then making the leap into private practice 21 years ago – a remarkable accomplishment in longevity and patient commitment by today’s healthcare private practice standards.
Ann has worked intensively and extensively with clients with heart disease, diabetes, GI disorders, oncology and pediatric issues to name a few. She also understands the difficulties and demands today’s families face when trying to manage a career, family and health eating habits for themselves and their children. Ann works with clients to address all of their nutritional concerns in health and disease.
The consummate educator, Ann has been an adjunct professor at Montclair State University and delivered numerous educational presentations to both local and national organizations. As an active member of the community, Ann believes in giving back by giving presentations and seminars through various Essex County Health Departments and community health fairs.
