Ann Perry-Blizzard is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in New York who has been practicing since 2009. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the State University of New York, Stony Brook. Ann has diversified experience with in-patient, out-patient, partial hospitalization, private practice, and outpatient client services, offering both in-person and virtual visits. She works with children, adolescents, young adults, adults of all ages, and families.
Ann has more than 4,000 hours precepting both Nurse Practitioners and Medical Students. Her approach to treatment involves using an individualized plan of care and forming a partnership with clients, not only treating present symptoms but also focusing on prevention through education, medications, nutrition, supplements, and genetic testing.
Ann spent a year working with an age management physician, meeting clients where they were while focusing on prevention. She also worked with Psychiatric Mental Health clients and studied various treatment modalities, including vitamins and supplements, exercise, nutrition, hormone regulation, and mind, body, and spirit wellness. Outside of work, Ann enjoys spending time with family and friends, is a dog mama, and loves all things beach, decorating, baking, Peloton, yoga, meditation, and Netflix marathons.
