Dr. Abolian attended the UC Berkeley School of Optometry where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was recognized for her dedication to patient care.
She has extensive training in fitting soft and specialty contact lenses, as well as the treatment and management of eye diseases such as Ocular Allergies, Dry Eye Disease, Glaucoma, Diabetic Retinopathy and Macular Degeneration.
Dr. Abolian grew up in Burbank, CA and completed her undergraduate studies at UCLA. Her clinical research experiences include several publications in the fields of Stroke and Neurology.

This is probably the best medical appointment I've ever had. Really. Anna is a true professional: thorough, takes time to go back and forth between tests to ensure best results, and she answered every single of my many questions with clarity and sufficient depth. Anna greeted me soon after arriving at the office. She was extremely gentle in how she handled me, very kind, articulate, and professional. As she took me through the steps of my eye exam, I was very comfortable even though some of the gadgets used in modern optometry can appear intimidating.
Turns out I could use a very mild set of glasses to help me with reading at the end of the day. They have glasses and frames you can try on right in the office and so I was able to pick out a pair that I can use for reading before I left. I should have them in the mail within a week or two.
I haven't been to an optometrist in several years and it was refreshing to know not all medial appointments have to be like a trip to the dentist office. I also love that they accepted my vision health insurance.
