I am a registered dietitian with 19 years of experience in pediatric and adult nutrition.
As a college athlete, I decided to pursue a career in nutrition while searching to find the best fuel for my body as a distance runner. I discovered I truly loved learning about nutrition and sharing that knowledge with others. I graduated from Bowling Green University and completed my dietetic internship at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH. As a military spouse, our family has moved 8 times in the past 17 years. Although moving so frequently is hard, I actually feel like it is one of my strengths because I have had the pleasure to work in so many facets of nutrition including weight management, failure to thrive and many chronic diseases.
I have a certificate in adult weight management and have held certifications in pediatric nutrition and nutrition support. I am currently enrolled in a Masters of Science in Dietetics program at Iowa State University.
I am married with 3 children and enjoy running, cooking, traveling and spending time with family.
