It was like for the first time I felt actually heard and listened to. I was immediately put at ease, and felt comfortable.
He listened and very obviously read everything I had filled out.
I appreciated that he asked all the questions to rule out any other possibilities other than stress and anxiety.
I liked his approach to solutions that aren't the typical anti-depressant/anti-stress medication.
For the first time it felt like he was offering and providing solutions and when I asked for help he actually helped me. For the first time I was actually helped by my doctor.

Great Doctor

Overall it was fine.
I did mention to the doctor, as we were going down his list of questions, a small issue I had a small bump on my finger which he was, I thought, OK to look at. As we got to the examination I forgot to mention the bump. I remembered after he left for his next appointment and when mentioning to the head nurse she said he probably can't look at it as he was on to his next appointment and he was scheduled tightly and I was scheduled at a certain time. Admittedly I came 5 mins late or so to my appointment due to a family bereavement matter. I felt she was slightly admonishing me that I was a bit late and I gently told her of my family matter (my father had passed 5 days ago and I'm in the midst of arrangements). She apologized somewhat.
When I asked again they said he could not come back. This would have been maybe all of one minute to look at my finger. Don't think I was asking for much. Also reception should not assume patients know medical lingo.

I scheduled an appointment to establish care as I am new to the area. The office staff was efficient and helpful prior to the appointment and day of.
The office was clean and social distancing was observed. I was the only patient in the waiting room.
Dr. Malhotra was on time and pleasant. He asked the expected questions and performed a routine physical. He was helpful in recommending other sub specialties that I needed in the area.
He was clear about when to see him, how to get a hold of the office and positive about my overall health.
For the first time in a long time, I felt happy when leaving a doctors office.
Highly recommend.

I was worried that a simple physical would have me in-and-out, but the doctor and staff actually took the time to listen to me. It felt like an interview, which opened up the way to talk about other potential issues and made me feel like a priority.

Great Listner and does his homework prior to the appointment so that he is fully aware of the patient from the past appointments. Very reliable and will not suggest unnecessary medication.
