April Dodder joined Colorado Springs Gynecology Associates (COSGA) September 2015 as a Board certified Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner. In spring of 2015, she completed her Master of Science degree from the University of Colorado Anchutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado. Prior to her Masters degree, April received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Portland and an Associated degree in science from University of Hawaii. April’s interest in medicine began before attending college gaining experience as a certified nursing assistant and as a hospital volunteer. Before joining COSGA, April practiced for 17 years as a registered nurse specializing in labor and delivery, the mother/baby unit, and in the nursery. Additionally, April held the charge nurse position at Memorial Hospital North Birth Center from 2007-2015.
