April was incredibly kind and thorough during our first session. She seemed invested in helping me understand what I am experiencing and working on helping me feel better overall. Throughout the process, April explained why she was doing what she was doing and checked in regularly about how I was feeling. She listened to everything I had to say and was very validating. It was clear she cares about helping people feel well and creating a safe, inviting space. I look forward to continuing to work with her and will recommend her to anyone seeking out healing. My first visit with April was absolutely lovely! It’s usually difficult for me to feel entirely comfortable in an initial acupuncture session, but April’s genuine demeanor & compassion made me feel right at home right away. She was super thorough and explained everything she was doing as she did it: something I’ve never experienced in any kind of doctor appointment. Would highly recommend!

I was terrified of acupuncture, but was excited to try as I have read about the benefits. April created a safe, comfortable, supportive environment for me and walked me through each step. She never left my side and had the most comforting music playing. She answered all my questions and didn’t make me feel silly for asking. I felt so empowered after! And I was calm, and I can’t wait for my next treatment. Totally recommend seeing April!

I had a wonderful, exceptional experience with April. After a horrible ankle sprain I was in a lot of pain and unable to put weight on my foot. I was on crutches and with a boot. As a tap dancer it was emotionally very challenging to not be able to dance as it is a critical form of expression for me; an extension of myself.
April was able to help me back on to my feet and into everyday movements like stairs and long walks. As a tap dancer herself she was able to understand what kind of stress I put my ankle under, and what would be important for my specific healing process. She helped me regain mobility and flexibility as well as reducing my pain dramatically. April also helped me emotionally recover from months of injury. During our visits she had me envision what it would feel like to tap dance, specially how I wanted my ankle to feel once it was recovered. This helped me keep a positive mind set and still appriciate my love for tap dance even when I could not do it.

This was my first time getting acupuncture treatment. I didn’t know anything about it and was skeptical of it’s benefits. I had a session after a strange injury in my neck appeared out of nowhere and a friend recommended I give it a try. April was super accommodating and explained the process so well that any apprehension I had was gone and I was able to fully relax and experience the best results of the treatment. After the acupuncture and some massaging, my pains were gone within 24 hours. It was incredible and convinced me this is a legitimate practice with real benefits that more westerners should be more open to experience. April’s the best!

April is an amazing person and healer. Her attention to every part of my healing process, meaning not only the ankle injury that I was seeing her for but every part of my body and mind, was a fulfilling process and always set me up for the week to come. She truly cares for her patients and looks for every way to improve your physical and mental self and rid you of pain.

This being my first time having acupuncture I was a little nervous once I was in April‘s hands there was nothing more to worry about she’s a true professional she’s caring and she puts me at ease with a healing and calming presence . I highly recommend her and I will continue to use her and only her for I feel she’s going to be able to heal me ! Sincerely , steff atwell

April provided me with an efficient treatment to my health issue (mainly sleep issues, which have been overall improving), as well as many advice on things for me to change or implement in my life in order to improve my overall sleep and health. She was also able to answer my many questions on acupuncture and Chinese medicine, and remains available via email for follow ups on how the situation is evolving, in order to prepare our next session accordingly.
