The front office was completely unorganized and rude. They had no confirmation of my appointment and blamed ZocDoc for it. They were cash only but had no sign that said that so I had to walk to an ATM, and then they couldn't make change. The nurse taking my vitals had to google everything we were talking about. When the doctor himself came in, he was unprofessional and made me feel uneasy. He asked me personal questions and didn't explain how they were related to medical treatment. Dr. Nercessian didn't ask anything about my medical history or reason for visiting. He seemed stuck on the fact that I take anti-anxiety medication and basically told me I need to stop taking medication and force myself to stop having anxiety. I am very happy with my medication regiment and did not come in to address that. He said "little kids are afraid of thunder and lightning and then they grow up". It was very unprofessional and I felt judged and uncomfortable instead of supported and helped. He didn't advise me about the reason I came in at all, and then left in a hurry to see his next patient. The administrators quickly came in and started scheduling me two more appointments, one for blood work and one for a PAP-Smear. Both of these things I have had done recently and they wouldn't explain to me why I needed another one. I felt like I was being scammed so I told them to not schedule me for anything. As I left, the person behind the desk told me to never use ZocDoc again. The only positive part of this whole experience was ZocDoc! I've never used this program before and loved the ease of finding a new doctor in my area and knowing that my insurance covers it. Dr. Nercessian's office was unprofessional, unorganized, and I worry that they are unethical. I will not be going back.
