Dr. Mimi Vanoyan is a graduate of the University of California, Davis, where she received a B.S. in biochemistry. She completed her medical degree, internship and residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, N.Y., serving as chief resident of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Medicine.
During her residency, Dr. Vanoyan was named Outstanding Chief Resident in Laparoscopic Surgery and was awarded an honorary membership in the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. After working in private practice in California, Dr. Vanoyan came to the Atlanta area in 1999 and joined Atlanta Obstetrics & Gynecology in 2002.
She has a special interest in pediatric and adolescent gynecology and laparoscopic surgery.

Dr. Vanoyan as well as the other two ladies assisting me today (Danielle was the nurse and I cannot remember the receptionist's name) were all very pleasant, helpful and comforting. I was in and out very quickly. Will definitely recommend to my friends and family!

Dr. Vanoyan and her assistant made me feel welcome and assured me that my procedure was going to be okay. Dr. Vanoyan takes time to explain what she's about to do and also explains what going on while she examined me, which I appreciated. She tries to be as gentle as possible to minimize discomfort.
