Dr. Grauer is brutally honest and a complete straight shooter. If you are too sensitive and can't take being spoken to with direction, he isn't the doc for you. When it comes to your health, I think this is the only way to go. I'm glad I found him and hope he is my Doc for many years to come.

Worst doctor I have seen in long time! He challenged the "quality" of other specialists because they were not affiliated with Northwestern. And he repeatedly said that he didn't have knowledge in the area he was treating me for, but when ahead and provided treatment. A little scary...

Dr. Grauer is the perfect doctor for me. He is no-nonsense and to the point, but never lacking for compassion or concern. His directness may rub some the wrong way, but he's a 5+ star physician.

I wish I could give a negative star. My last visit was the worst experience I ever had in a doctor's office.The doctor was rude and unprofessional. I had booked for an annual physical.
1) He did not even check me at all (with the stethoscope or check my throat, nose etc as part of a routine exam which he should have done since I came for an annual physical ).
2)He told me that I was there for a physical 4 months ago and why I came again!!! I thought that doctors believe in preventive care.
3)He should have double checked his facts before he told me in a very rude way that "this is not an annual exam because you came again this year". Before I made my appointment I had double checked with my insurance that there is no max in annual physicals. He cared more about the insurance billing code than to perform his duty as a doctor
3)He would have incorrectly billed my visit . If I had not called back to double check I would have being billed incorrectly.Thankfully his secretary double checked and confirmed that I was right
Next time I will make sure to choose a doctor that cares about the patients

Good. I went to see this doctor for a work phyiscal. I would recommend this doctor to others. He was very through and considerate. Will go back if I get sick or need a doctor for other matters.

By far the best doctor I have ever visited. I felt completely comfortable and was very surprised at how well he listened and took his time as if there was no other patients to see. Very funny and VERY to the point. Not one to prescribe drugs for any reason also. I am a young man who is a light smoker and when I asked about Zyban he said to not be a sally about it, go out for a night and smoke a pack and then just quit instead of looking for another fix (zyban). This man is very easy to relate to. We talked about fishing and travels and I felt as if I had known him for a long time. Highly recommend him.

The guy is great! He actually wants to take the time to get to know you as a person as well as your medical history. He even throws in a few jokes. I am very happy I found him and will definitely continue to go to him.

This was my first experience booking an appointment with a doctor by myself, pretty sad, I know, but it was very easy. Once I got to the office, Jeanne, the office manager, walked me through the process and was very accommodating. My appointment was 9:45, I got to the office at 9:20, I was speaking with Dr. Grauer by 9:27, and finished everything by 9:45. Simply amazing. Dr. Grauer was funny, honest, and to the point. Overall, a great experience.

He is such a nice guy! Very easy to talk to and asks questions about you and your health in order to get to know you and diagnose you properly. The appointment went pretty quick but I did not feel rushed at all. I would highly recommend him!
