This is my second time seeing Dr. Patel -- and this time I was acutely aware of the time limit of how overworked and overscheduled she appeared to be, which was a disappointment. Despite having all the information on my chart and having corresponded with her since my last appointment it was as if we were starting from scratch and I was having to explain everything anew. When I expressed concern over communication I'd had with her office she cut me off telling me we only had twenty minutes scheduled and it wasn't worth discussing that. I really didn't feel heard -- and that's ultimately not the way you want to feel coming out of a doctor's office.

Great! I had trouble finding the right building because it is on campus and part of a hospital so make sure to get there extra early for the parking garage. Overall experience was very quick and efficient and I got the referrals I needed.

My experience with Dr. Patel was on point. I didn't even finish filling out my patient form before they called me in for my annual physical. The nurses were also friendly and made me feel at ease while doing my bloodwork since I have a thing with needles. You'll get the most out of your appointment if you have a list of all your issues handy. Dr. Patel addressed each of my concerns and made specific recommendations. I was also in and out within 30 minutes. I will continue seeing the good folks at USC Keck for all my needs.

Dr Patel is absolutely wonderful! She's very kind, smart and attentive. She answered all of my questions and was not at all dismissive. The nurse who took my blood for testing left some serious bruising, but other than that, the experience was really quick and helpful.
