Ashley Myatt, PA-C of First Medical Associates is a physician associate currently serving patients at the Severna Park, MD location. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (2011) and her Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences (2009), both from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Prior to joining First Medical Associates, she worked in neurosurgery for 10 years, as well as in family medicine, urgent care, and wellness/hormone replacement before that.
Ashley is dedicated to a patient-centered and integrative approach, with the goal of fostering a collaborative relationship with each patient built on trust and open communication. By considering physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors, she tailors personalized treatment plans that empower patients to make informed decisions about their care.
Outside the clinic, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, and being outdoors.

I consider her an excellent care provider. She listened to my concerns and explained everything so I could understand. I am so glad I found her. However, the building her office is in is not very wheelchair friendly. I had a friend take me to my first appointment and she helped me get through two of the doors. I'm not sure I will be able to do it myself, although I can go to other doctor's appointments by myself.

This was the worst Doctors experience I have ever had.
The front desk person was rude, and did not know what they were doing. I watched them fumble about with the insurance information that was provided days in advance, only for them to tell me that they need to cancel my appointment, since they took too much time figuring out how to work the insurance backend.
I was 15 minutes early and submitted all proper forms in advance.
It was a terrible experience and I would not recommend this office to anyone.

I've been looking for a new PCP and I'm so lucky to have found PA Ashely Myatt! She had same day appointments and I arrived 15 minutes early like they suggested. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. I signed a few new patient forms and after about 10 minutes, they called me to the back. PA Ashely Myatt greeted me with a big smile the moment she walked into the room!! She was kind, attentive and really took the time to listen to me and my concerns. She could tell I was a bit nervous about the exam but she was able to talk me through it and was gentle! I appreciated that so much. I will definitely recommend PA Ashely to my friends and family!!

Ashley Myatt was really phenomenal with the visit today. She was incredibly patient, friendly and knowledgeable. My longtime doctor retired so I’ve been looking for a new PCP where I can actually get in and be seen. I loved the thorough way in which she reads through my complete medical history and chart to get up to speed and took a proactive approach to my entire health not just the concern that I was coming in for. Wow, amazing practice location, very clean and convenient! I’m so impressed. Great find and I look forward to building a long and successful relationship with this practitioner.

Over all experience excellent. Office seems to be new. None of that matters. Ashley’s bedside manner is next level. Extremely personable and a great listener. She asked the right questions and took plenty of notes. Highly recommend.

I didn’t even get a chance to see the physician. I called the office to inform them that I was in traffic and running 5 mins late according to GPS for my appointment and they hung up on me. Then I get to the office and they say they can’t see me because the paper work wasn’t filled out online. I explained to the receptionist that I couldn’t because the website said I needed to do it in person as a new patient.Then she said I needed to reschedule for another day because I was late and the form wasn’t complete. I then asked there isn’t any forms I can do here instead? She replied she wasn’t sure…then 15 mins past she finds them and said I would need to come back an hour later since my appointment window was closed. At this point I just said I’ll find another provider. I’m sure the physician is nice but the receptionist was completely unprofessional and unprepared.

I had a very good experience at my new PCP office at First Medical Associates in Severna Park. The front desk receptionist was friendly and I found Ashley Myatt, PA-C to be very caring, thorough, and professional. I would definitely recommend her to my friends.

I have not seen a primary care in a long while so I wasn't sure what to expect. But PA Ashley Myatt listened very well to all of my concerns and made sure I understood what next steps should be. She was very comforting and calming. Its not easy to find someone with her type of bedside manner much these days.
