More about Ashley Peasley, WHNP-BC, MSN, RN
Ashley Peasley, MSN, WHNP-BC was born and raised in Massachusetts, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Massachusetts/Amherst in 2014. She subsequently went on to earn a second bachelor’s degree as well as a master’s degree in nursing at Regis College. During her postgraduate training, she worked as a nurse in Labor and Delivery in New Hampshire. After completing her training, she relocated to New York, and has worked as a women’s health nurse practitioner ever since. Ashley is dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate healthcare and providing trusting long term relationships with her patients.
Working in the field of ob/gyn affords me the privilege to be a part of women’s most vulnerable and special moments: From helping women conceive, walking an adolescent through their first menses or helping manage menopausal symptoms, there is no greater joy than educating and empowering women about their bodies. My “light bulb” moment was witnessing my first delivery. I knew then that this was the field for me.
I worked as a nurse in Labor and Delivery for two years while completing my master’s degree Nursing. After graduation, I moved to Long Island and have been practicing as a women’s health nurse practitioner for the last three years.
Educating and empowering women to make the best healthcare choices is what brings me to work every day. There is nothing better than following up with a patient to find out that they feel better after our last appointment. Following patients along their journey and developing unique relationships through all stages of life is a tremendous source of professional satisfaction for me.
I moved to Long Island during the COVID pandemic, and I’ve been working here throughout. The Woman’s Health Pavilion was an easy choice given its strong reputation and dedication to providing excellent care to their patients. I am always excited to assist patients with managing their polycystic ovarian syndrome
