Really liked that the wait was not long. The doctor was knowledgeable and talked on my level when explaining things, however "bedside manner" could have been friendlier; less factual and to the point. I just wanted her to smile to make me feel more at ease when discussing possible surgery. I didn't feel at ease which somewhat worries me about when surgery comes around.

Listened to all my concerns/issues. Her response/diagnoses was very cleat and defined. Never felt like she had to rush to the next patient. I would recommend Dr Shepard to anyone with any type of foot issues.

As suggested to her and to her associate, I think it is unsanitary and poor psychology to ask one to remove shoes and socks, and place one's bare feet on a bare floor. Should be some sort of disposable paper mat laid down first.

She got me in the room quickly. The evaluation and and explained to me. Prior to the appointment I filled out paperwork for the appointment the were on the Zocdoc site. Unfortunately, I had to fill out different papers at the appointment. "We don't use the forms in this office". That was annoying!

Started off shakey. Even though I received a confirmation email and text as I was entering the office, I was told by reception that I did not have an appt, it was cancelled for unknown reason.. it took me almost 3 weeks for my employer to give me this time off, so I was anxious that this mistake was made, but Dr Shepard agreed to see me.. ( after all, I had an appt ) . I was seen within a short time, diagnosed and done in a quick but not rushed time.

I really liked Dr. Shepard but the wait time over an hour and the office staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. The medical technician and the Dr were nice but I wa not happy dealing with the receptionist/office staff who seemed aggrevated and annoyed with the patients.

Dr. Shepard was excellent. She immediately diagnosed the problem with my foot pain, performed a quick non-invasive procedure and eliminated the pain. The problem I had was the lack of coordination between Zocdoc and the doctor's office. Notwithstanding making my appointment on Zocdoc and bringing a print out of my confirmation, the doctor's office had no record of the appointment. The doctor was kind enough to fit me into her schedule, but I needed to wait over an hour to see her.

Dr. Shepard is great. However, the mayhem surrounding my inability to schedule an appointment was horrific. I was on hold with the office for 25 minutes before listening to the message that suggested hanging up and calling another number to schedule an appointment. I did that, only to experience the joy of that phone hanging up on me 9 times in a row before I could get someone on the phone. That person told me they only accept general practitioner appointments. I went online to Zoc doc and made an appointment. When I arrived at the doc office, the woman there said that Zoc doc doesn't make appointments for them and that I had no appointment! Also, the doc phone number on the Aetna website is wrong. Terrible experience to say the least!!!

I had a visit scheduled Thursday, 12/17 and tried calling the Hartford office several times to cancel due to my daughter being sick but was put on hold for so long each time that I called that I never got through to cancel the appointment. I have had work done by Dr. Shepherd in the past and would highly recommend her but would also recommend that there is an easier way to communicate with her office

Dr. Shepard was great; she was knowledgeable and had a good manner, which is why I chose her as my doctor. She was very behind though. I was informed she was 15 minutes behind when I checked in. No other information regarding her delay was given to me. Over an hour passed and I was about to leave as had another commitment when she was able to see me. The appointment went well. She informed me she was over booked and was not feeling well. I felt bad for her. I would totally recommend Dr. Shepard to others. However, waiting over an hour for one's appointment needs improvement.

All was great,except I had to fill out forms there because the information I filled in for ZocDoc is in a different format the the forms used by the office. So, I had to give them all my insurance information, etc. ZocDoc needs to coordinate with the doctors so that the patient can take advantage of doing the information ONCE !

She and her admin staff were AWESOME. She was personable and professional and kind. And thorough. And gave me tips & ideas on how to curb my foot pain. Rhonda, admin woman was also very professional, quick, polite and very nice. Great experience with my visit!
