Dr. Choudhary founded Advanced Psychiatry becuase he valued practicing compassion, being trustworthy, and striving for excellence in patient care. He believes in the importance of forming meaningful connections and inspiring hope in our communities through individualized, dignified, and accessible care, combined with quality practices and collaborative partnerships.
Dr. Choudhary earned his medical degree at St. Matthews University. He completed his Psychiatry Residency and Child & Adolescent Fellowship at the University of Missouri where he also served as Chief Fellow. He is part of the American Psychiatric Association.
Dr. Choudhary has years of experience in treating patients in various demographic areas and all age ranges. He has trained in an autism center, the juvenile justice system, and multiple school settings. Since completing fellowship, Dr. Choudhary has worked in inpatient, outpatient, and telepsychiatry settings as well as provided consult liaison services.
He provides compassionate, holistic, and evidence-based care, emphasizing lifestyle, biology, and personal history to develop a personalized treatment plan to help clients reach their full potential.

When he's not busy being Dr. Choudhary, he's just Asif--a fan of skiing, mindless action movies, and traveling. He's lived in Georgia his entire life except when his medical career required him to relocate temporarily.
