My goal as a healthcare provider is to partner with my patients on their physical, mental, and spiritual health journeys. I seek to work closely with each patient, recognizing their unique circumstances, and provide compassionate support that's tailored to their needs. My time as a registered nurse (RN) at a community health clinic, which served underserved populations from many different cultures, illuminated the real-life barriers patients often face in their health journey. This experience reinforced my commitment to working with my patients to understand and address these challenges. I go by Avery and use she/her/hers pronouns. I love to challenge myself and try new things, whether they are active or creative. I have an amateur's love of sewing, knitting, cycling, rock climbing, hiking, yoga, and painting. I received my education from Azusa Pacific University and hold board certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). I also have an additional degree as a Public Health Nurse.
