Dr. Avinash Boddapati is dual board-certified in general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Boddapati works with children and adolescents with a focus on attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism, mood disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and behavioral disturbances in people with developmental disabilities. His treatment modalities include medication management, cognitive behavioral therapy, parenting techniques, and motivational interviewing. Dr. Boddapati works with patients as a team to empower their progress. He was moved to become a clinician after seeking how a lack of mental health resources can affect individuals and their families. Dr. Boddapati completed his psychiatry residency and fellowship at East Carolina University. He is fluent in Telugu and Hindi.
Dr. Avinash Boddapati also treats substance use disorders with Suboxone and other evidence-based practice methods to achieve current and future sobriety, a return to health and wellness and improved daily life.
