Dr. Ellenstein was extremely thoughtful and attentive, and took my concerns very seriously. She even gave me her assistant's number in case I need to follow up. Highly, highly recommend!

Dr. Ellenstein is fantastic. Highly recommended
The appointment with Dr. Ellenstein was literally the best doctor's appointment I've ever been to. She was very thorough in her examination and questions and her recommendations to my rather complicated problem was very well-thought out and complimented what my other doctor suggested. She was willing to communicated with my other doctors and was very cordial. She analyzed my problem like a scientist and gave me solutions like a physician (she's MD/PhD). Highly recommended.
Verified patient

I searched on Zocdoc specifically for headache specialists and Dr. Ellenstein popped up. She had great reviews so I made an appointment, but when I arrived she explained that she was a Parkinson's specialist! She explained that she would get me started today and then refer me to a headache specialist in her practice. Dr. Ellenstein was very thorough and professional and super personable and friendly. I would recommend her very highly. Too bad about Zocdoc giving me a list of Parkinson's specialists when I asked for headache specialists!
It was worth seeing Dr. Ellenstein. She's very through and made me very comfortable talking to her. She made great connection with the patient. I had a wonderful interaction with her.

Competent and reassuring.

I had booked the appointment online through ZocDoc for a returning patient instead of a new patient which requires a longer appointment. I thought I would have to reschedule but she graciously agreed to see me as I had traveled some distance. I instantly felt at ease. She did a complete exam and confirmed the diagnosis I had received last week. We spoke extensively on causes and treatment. She was patient and explained a variety of options and scenarios. I never felt rushed and left feeling I had enough information on the process moving forward. I never write reviews unless the experience was exceptional and Dr. Ellenstein is truly exceptional!!!!!
Verified patient
Dr Ellenstein was thorough in her examination and helpful in discussing potential issues Very impressed with her as a doctor. Highly recommend.
Verified patient
Dr. Ellenstein is a fine physician. She inspires confidence by both her evident skill and her judgment. A patient who has her for a doctor is lucky.
Dr. Ellenstein was very kind and generous. I was there to establish care and she directed me in the right direction. She also referred me to another doctor's office who contacted me within two days. My overall experience was exceptional.

I don't have time to write a detailed review.
She seems to be an excellent clinician. Very very thorough. She is young, and has research experience....this detail is important to me. I saw her for shingles altho she has a specialty in movement disorders. She had an impressive training history and education but seems to be fairly personable as well. Like any modern doctor she began by typing my responses into a computer. While this eliminates eye contact, which I believe to be important, this is the way things are done. When not at the computer she had good eye contact and was a good listener. I recommend her.
