Providing patient-focused results is Dr. Pannell’s goal. She loves that her job allows her to make a change in people’s lives, both by relieving their pain and seeking out and correcting the underlying issues that created the pain.
To ensure patients understand what’s going on with their health, Dr. Pannell educates them along the way. She wants to provide results starting from the very first session, and she loves knowing that patients will leave feeling better than when they arrived.
Shockwave therapy uses sound waves to locate areas of damaged tissue and stimulates the body's natural healing response in that area. The patient feels a vibration in the problem area, helping us diagnose where the problem is, so we can focus on those damaged tissues.
Once we know where to treat, Dr. Pannell applies the therapy directly to the area, stimulating your body's own stem cells and promoting better circulation, which supplies oxygen and nutrients necessary for healing. It also increases cellular metabolism to help your body repair the damage. Once repaired, it helps cells be stronger and last longer.
