His compassion and knowledge. Seen many doctors over the years to get my diagnosis but never really felt I was treated as a person. Great bedside manner I've only been a patient for a few months but don't think I will ever need another doctor in this field :). Also staff is so friendly, Rosa his front of the office is always sweet and smiling. Thank you for that it goes along way when you have dealt with the opposite.

Dr. Nguyen completed his Pain Fellowship/Training. with distinction, at the internationally prestigious Beth Israel Medical Center. He has extensive experience in the treatment of Acute and Chronic Pain conditions. He graduated from Rush Medical School, Chicago, and finished his Residency at U.C.L.A. Dr. Nguyen is double board certified in Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation with comprehensive expertise in minimally invasive spine procedures, arthritis, headaches, sport injuries, electrodiagnostic studies (EMG/NCS), addiction medicine and narcotic/opioid medical management.
Dr. Nguyen is a native of Southern California and received his Bachelors of Science at University of California, Irvine (U.C.I.). He is married, and enjoys surfing, hiking, sports, and spending time with family.
“I understand that pain affects every aspect of my patients’ lives. Each patient has different individual needs for his/her pain. I treat all patients how I would want my own family members treated. I find a connection with each patient on a personal level. I discuss all options, always available for questions, and lend support so my patients can make informed decisions with regard to their healthcare.” Dr. Nguyen believes in the multimodality/multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of Acute and Chronic Pain, and consequently provides comprehensive treatment solutions.

Dr. Nguyen is a wonderful Doc. I've had chronic pain issues for many years. I've seen a few pain specialist. Dr. Nguyen is knowledgable and highly skilled, but best of all he is compassionate and truly cares. I will stay with Dr. Nguyen for many years.
