I love Dr. Mendrey! She is a great listener, compassionate as well as a truly caring Doctor. She is always up-to-date on Medicine that is better than some having bad side affects. I highly recommend her as a primary care doctor. I live part time in Washington state and Arizona. Honestly, and selfishly, I wish she could be in both states for my care.

Barbara Mendrey, M.D., has seen many changes in medicine, but has remained true to her belief in an approach that emphasizes health and natural healing over disease management and medication.
Dr. Mendrey is excited to truly blend two paths of medical care: traditional disease-fighting medicine combined with the natural disease prevention techniques of Naturopathic Medicine in the practice that she shares with Joshua Goldenberg, N.D. She is pleased to invite patients to join in her journey along this path of medical discovery.
Dr. Mendrey is a graduate of the Oregon Health Sciences University School of Medicine. She completed her family practice residency through UCLA. Since then, she has operated a health clinic, a birthing center, and an emergency room in rural Colorado, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theology, and joined the US Army Reserve, gaining experience in tropical medicine. She started Northshore Family Practice in Kenmore in 2002.
Dr. Mendrey has lived in the Seattle area for the past 18 years, along with her husband and children. She enjoys spending free time with her family, skiing and gardening.

This clinic is "membership" clinic....you have to siign up for an annual payment which is expensive. This was not stated in the recommendation for this doc. Too bad...I just need a GP.

I felt like I had finally found the doctor that I have been looking for, for many years. She was pleasant, knowledgeable, and thorough. I was content and happy, until I found out she would not be available after a few months. I was disappointed and now I have to start my search all over.

I drive 50 miles one way to keep this doctor and naturopath! Its a great combo for me having both doctors to talk to and discuss treatment. Dr Mendrey was able to catch my ovarian cancer in stage one! I have been cancer free now for 2 years! Having Dr G is exactly what I wanted after my treatment with all the chemicals. I would rather have the time to talk to my Drs than be rushed through and treated like a number. You get to actually have the time you need to talk to them!

I meet with Dr. Mendrey 12yrs. Ago when I was looking for a Dr. Who would take on my son with a major heart condition. She gave him so much support and always would stay in touch with Children's hospital. My self, husband and daughter switched to her and she has the same level of support for us. Our time in our appointments are never rushed. She takes time and pays close attention to the needs of her patients. Highly recommend her and her office!
