Dr. Barbara Noel is an OB/GYN physician who joins us in private practice in Pompano Beach and Fort Lauderdale, FL. Originally from New York, she graduated from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998. She completed her OB/GYN residency training at Maimonides Medical Center - regional perinatal center in Brooklyn, NY. A recipient of Teacher of the Year award for student physician clerkships, she also served as administrative Chief Resident of her residency program.
Dr. Noel has been practicing in South Florida since 2006 and is currently affiliated with Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Previous to practicing in South Florida, Dr. Noel served as an Attending OB/GYN physician at the Ryan Health Center in New York City, NY affiliated with St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital - teaching institution of the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons. In addition to providing general Obstetric and Gynecological care, she was active in women’s health education. She presented educational workshops in the community forum. Focusing on Cervical and Breast pathology with emphasis on screening and prevention. Dr. Noel promoted Obstetric patient education, particulary High Risk, through participation in the PCAP program.
Dr. Noel has been an active member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, The American Medical Association and The American Ostepathic Association. She has served as a volunteer to the World Medical Missions in Haiti and the Vellore Christian Medical College in Vellore, India. She is passionate about women’s health through the different phases of life from adolescence to postmenopause. Her Obstetrical patients truly enjoy her caring support through the natural experience of childbirth.

My experience with Doctor Barbara Noel was perfect. The waiting room had a great 'spa' feel - big comfortable couches, and spa type music with the combination of the sound of the waterfall fountain was relaxing. The room had its own television which created a more comfortable setting. Barbara herself was very respectful, knowledgable, explained everything clearly, listened, was kind, and professional. Best of all - no wait and super quick. Staff and nurse were very nice too.

Dr. Noel was wonderful. She made me feel so much better when I left the office and the entire staff was caring. Waiting room and exam room was neat, clean and very calming. I will recommend her to my friends and patients from the office I work in. Great being able to be seen on a Saturday and I didn't have to take time off work.
