Dr. Barry Breaux is board-certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology, specializing in laser vision correction and cataract and lens implant surgery. Dr. Breaux received his Medical Degree from the prestigious Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, and completed a three-year Residency in Ophthalmology at the King-Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Dr. Breaux also completed a fellowship in Refractive Surgery at Holy Cross Hospital in Los Angeles, where he refined his skills in performing surgical procedures (LASIK and Refractive Lens Exchange) to correct a wide variety of vision problems, including myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), and astigmatism. He also performs advanced laser procedures for the treatment of diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma.
