Dr. Basel was amazing ! It was my first visit with him ( for a physical) and his bedside manner was impeccable. Very nice man. Takes his time and answers all questions he makes sure your comfortable and He makes you laugh at the same time. Office is very clean and modern I would recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing primary care doctor ! Oh and blood work is done in the office which is a plus!

Dr Batarseh is always professional but at the same time, very personable and kind. I recommend him to all of my friends.
The wait time this visit was unusually long. I know that sometimes this can happen but the front end staff should have said something to those of us sitting in the waiting area for over an hour. I don't blame the doctor for this, his staff should know that they need to pay attention to such things and make sure we don't feel like we've been forgotten. I went up at one point to see what was going on and I had to say 'Excuse me' (in a polite way), to get their attention because they were too busy talking to each other about what they were going to have for lunch to even notice that I was standing there. This reflects poorly on the doctors entire practice and he needs to address this.

Today was my first time visiting Docor Basel Batarseh, there was barely any wait time and the office is very clean. There is also a parking lot and is very close to the high way. He seemed very interested in getting to know me as a person and also seems genuine. I think i just found my new primary :) yay

After moving to Northern New Jersey over a year ago, it took me a while of scouring the internet, asking co-workers and doctor visits to find a physician. Dr. Batarseh has a great bedside manner and attitude. He is professional and human at the same time, an important quality in any physician. A really great doctor, I'm so glad that I found him!

This was my 1st time seeing this doctor. He practices in a very new office space in Fair Lawn. It was a bit of a wait, but once he came in to see me I didn't feel as if he was rushing to get out of the room. He took the time to discuss my medical history, goals, and explain various tests to me. I'll definitely be returning here!

Met the doctor for the first time today. Excellent experience.
Took less than a half hour to get in (and that's because I had to fill paperwork, etc). He was very kind and listened to my issues and concerns. Highly recommended and will return to his office again.

My visit with Dr. Batarseh was a very good one. My appointment was at 11:30am, but had to fill out paperwork as I was a new patient. As soon as I was done, I was called in for bloodwork & a urine sample. Was sent back to the waiting area, but within minutes was called to see Dr. Batarseh. This doctor knows his stuff. He was also very pleasant to talk to. I was just surprised he wrote nothing on my chart; but then again, every doctor has their own method of jotting down their observations. Would highly recommend!

Terrible bedside manner. In a rush to get me in and out and would not even listen to my symptoms. Didn't check my ears or throat till we were walking out. When I went back for a follow up appointment, he asked me if I was taking both medications he prescribed .... he only prescribed me one. Then he thought I completed my blood test, but I had to come back because I did not fast for long enough. He also did not notify me about my blood work until I asked for a copy. Clearly does not care about his patients to know what's going on (all you have to do is read my chart). Has a paging service but didn't care enough to call back. Had to get 7 messages every half hour from the service asking if he had called back until I just asked for them to cancel the page. Overall terrible experience with the doctor, but the nurses were kind.

Came to a conclusion about the illness even without listening to what I had to say. Maybe the diagnosis was correct. But from my research, the diagnosis did not fit all the symptoms that I was having. I had to stop him from writing the prescription and list all the symptoms that I was having. The medicine appeared to work and I got better in the next few days.
But I personally prefer a Dr who would first listen to me describe the symptoms fully before diagnosing the issue.

Dr. Batarseh has been my MD for many years for many reasons. He listens carefully & without judgement. He is never in a hurry. His staff is always kind and accomodating. I trust Dr. Batarseh completely. Dr Batarseh is never quick to start treatment on something until he is fully informed of all aspects of my complaints & for this conservative nature I respect & choose him as my physician.
