“First time coming to this office. What an amazing place! The office was very clean. The staff were extremely nice and welcoming. There’s was no rush to get our exams done, which is super important to me. Dr. Perez was extremely patient, took her time to explain everything about me and my father, she answered all of our questions and we left knowing we got the best service. About Dr. Belkis Perez

Dr. Belkis Perez Dr. Perez was born and raised in South Florida. She obtained her optometric physician degree at Nova Southeastern University in 2016. Her training focused on the management of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, pediatrics, and contact lenses. Dr. Perez provides comprehensive eye exams, medical exams, emergency visits, and contact lens exams. She is currently a member of the AOA, FOA, and Broward County Optometric Association. Dr. Perez's special interests are glaucoma management, special contact lens fitting(scleral and RGP contact lenses), & myopia control. Dr. Perez has been part of the Mauri Eye Associates team since 2022. "Being an optometrist is not only my job but my passion; to help preserve my patient's vision for years to come."
