Dr. Benjamin Heller attended Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona where he received his bachelor’s degree in Biology. He attended medical school at Touro University – College of Osteopathic Medicine in Henderson, Nevada. He then completed his internship at Chino Valley Medical Center in Chino, California. Dr. Heller attended his Ophthalmology residency at Nova Southeastern University in conjunction with Larkin Community Hospital. After residency, Dr. Benjamin Heller joined his father Dr. Warren Heller MD and his brother Dr. Matthew Heller DO to practice Ophthalmology in the greater Phoenix area.

The Dr. led me to believe my insurance would pay for the laser services and there would be no need for medications that could react with my heart medications. When I got to the office I was told it would cost me considerable out of pocket for each eye and there would be surgery for the eye that had not already had a cataract removed and lens replacement. They talked down to me because of my age as if I was senile and incompetent. They insisted I have a guardian with a living will and Power of attorney. I had to have a Medical Passport and because of Covid 19 restrictions my daughter couldn't be in the room with me but had to wait in the waiting room for up to 4 hours. This is unacceptible. I was stunned. My daughter suggested I get another opinion. No. I will not recommend AZ Doctors. I won't have anything more to do with them.

I went for tearing right eye and pinching and after the physical check the doctor found that the eye is dry because it not closing properly, he also noticed that my smile on the right side is different. He told me this might be because of a stroke and I have to do a MRI within 24 hours and I did. Thank God it wasn’t a stroke but it was a disease called Bell’s palsy which has the same symptoms as the stroke and in a lot of cases can cause paralysation in on side of the face. Dr. Benjamin Heller Saved me from horrible illness with his knowledge and experience. Thanks a lot I really appreciate you!

I ended up visiting with Dr. Farnsworth. My Left eye history is a bit complicated. Dr. Farnswoth stepped in immediately and handled the situation with grace and ease. I felt VERY well attended to having a very thurough exam with all of my questions anwered. The office staff was friendly and courteous. The waiting area, exam room and rest room were all immaculate. All in all, a great experience! I highly reccomend.

While I would go back to see this doctor, I did have to wait over an hour to see him. I overheard him in the next room, while I was waiting, showing boxing videos to the staff for over 25 minutes. Not ok.

The nurse who took me back into the room frequently left me alone to gossip in the hallway with the other staff. I had a stye/abscess on my lower eye lid and the doctor told me it would probably go away, and if not to come back. If I were to come back he would treat it then (2 weeks recommended wait time). Not very impressed with the staff or management. Would not return or recommend.

Once I was inside the clinic they had a mistake about why I was there, once that was figured out,
Dr.Heller himself was really nice, professional with good explanation of the situation

I liked Dr. Heller but their office staff/manager leave a lot to be desired. I was double billed by this office, and though I provided plenty of documentation, it took more then 4 months to get this resolved. Disappointing.

Dr. Ben was very professional as well as his staff. I arrived early for my appointment and they were able to see me before my scheduled time. He diagnosed the pain in my eye very well and gave me a prescription which seems to have done the trick.
