My acupuncture journey has been blessed beyond measure by the amazing guides who have come before me.
My initial introduction to acupuncture was with Zhongyang Linda Liu, a 4rd generation Acupuncturist from Xinjiang, China. At the time I was in a wheelchair from a military injury, and at the end of my rope having tried everything the VA offered. She saved my life by getting me out of the wheelchair, and off the pain medication. Then gave me a new life by instructing me as her apprentice for 2 years.
Then after completing my western medical training in the MN state program, I attended AAAOM for my formal masters in Acupuncture and Oriental medicine. All my professors there were PHD's from China, most of them coming from long family traditions. When I was focused on cosmetic acupuncture I was honored to assist the founder of Constitutional Facial Acupuncture at Northwestern Health Science University on stage.
Finally when I was working on my doctorate, I was trained by Baoku Liu PhD L.Ac (New York) in scar tissue release techniques. He is one of 3 people certified to teach these techniques worldwide. I aspire to bring the knowledge, healing and grace I've been shown in my journey to you on your road to health.
